Pastor Maggie T. Wilson

Pastor Maggie Wilson was born on December 11, 1966 in Lauren, SC to the late Reverend Odessa and Willie Roy Tucker. Pastor Wilson attended Public School 73 and Junior High School 57 here in Brooklyn, NY. Pastor Wilson graduated in June of 1986 from Martin Luther King Jr. High School. Pastor Wilson attended The College of New Rochelle where she graduated in May 2004 with her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology. Pastor Wilson graduated with her Master's degree from Queen's College majoring in Urban Affairs on May 2012 and a 2nd Masters degree from Alfred University in School and Mental Health Counseling.

Pastor Wilson is the proud mother of 3 wonderful children; Durrell, Michael and Brittany. Her career began at the Department of Education in July 1991 as an Educational Assistant where she was later promoted to School Business Manager in 2004 through 2012. She continued her career with the Department of Education as a substitute teacher until March 2015. In March 2015, she began a position as Project Manager at the Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School in Brooklyn. Pastor Wilson has a passion for working with children for over 20 years. Maggie has helped numerous families and children with her nurturing spirit and guidance by advocating and inspiring them to never settle, but to always stay motivated to do their very best.

 

​Pastor Wilson was a member of Tabernacle of Prayer Evangelist team for several years founded by the late Pastor Luis Rodriguez. Maggie felt the call to ministry and began studying the gospel of Jesus Christ at Community Bible Institute in 1998. Here is where she met Dr. and Overseer Vernice Robinson and became a member of Parson’s Temple Fellowship Church, where Dr. Robinson is the Senior Pastor. Maggie was later ordained to preach the Gospel in the year of our Lord 2000. Evangelist Maggie worked as the President of the Missionary Board at Parson’s Temple.

Pastor Wilson became  a member of Calvary UFW Baptist Church from 2001 until 2011. There she served as President of Children's Ministry and held this position for 3 years. She worked alongside the great Dr. Pastor Mary D. Allen on the women's committee. She also served as President of the Singles Ministry and was the Facilitator/Coordinator of the Annual Outreach Street Festival. The festival was designed to reach out to citizens within the community to provide them with services like health care, free food, clothing, housing and other community related services. Pastor Wilson felt the call of God to move on to furthering in ministry.

Pastor Wilson later got the call to serve under the leadership and spiritual guidance of Apostle Scotto and the late Apostle Cassandra Cameron-White of the New Vision of Hope Ministries where she was ordained in 2016 as an Elder. She also served as the President of the Building Fund Committee. Pastor Wilson is currently a member of Jesus Outreach Tabernacle under the leadership of Pastors Terrence and Sandy Roberts. Lastly Pastor Wilson is the author of Broken But Whole and the Founder of  B.O.W. Ministries and Faith ‘N’ Families Community Development Center.
